What are the main differences between 100% cotton and polycotton sheets?

On one hand cotton is smoother and softer than polycotton. On the other hand, cotton is hard to dry and has a shorter lifespan than polycotton. If you are looking for the best comfortable bed linen, go with 100% cotton sheets. If you are looking for durability and a good price-performance ratio, go with polycotton sheets.

What is the difference between percale and sateen weaving?

Percale sheets are plain in weave with a matte finish. They are weaved really tightly to be durable, resistant and easy to maintain.

Sateen sheets are woven to create a silky-smooth surface. The comfort will be improved. Contact your sales rep for cleaning instructions.

Duvets & Pillows

What is the difference between microfibre and duvet?

Microfibre is a synthetic fiber with a diameter much smaller than natural fibre (thereby it’s given name). This property is what makes it feel much like duvet to the touch. The principal characteristics of microfibre are:

  • Its ability to retain heat.
  • Its washability and capacity to regain its duvet like aspect.

How to wash duvets and pillows ?

Wash individually. Do not exceed 40°C. When drying at low temperature, put one or two tennis balls in the dryer to avoid clumping of fibre.

How to choose a bathrobe?

In general, the bathrobe in a waffle cotton is much lighter than a bathrobe that isn’t. Its light weight allows for faster drying time and therefore, is very economical for maintenance purposes.

A bathrobe that is in terry is warmer and snuggles over the body more. It is advised for wellness centers such as spas as well as middle to high end establishments to opt for this type of fabric to offer the comfort their clientele expects.

What information should be kept at hand when choosing/ordering tablecloths?

Take the measurements of the table (its diameter if it’s round; length and width otherwise).

Clarify the shape of the table (round, oval, etc.).

Measure the length of the drop.

What kind of drop would you require for the tablecloth?

The drop must consider the desired effect and the clientele for whom it is intended. We will opt for a minimal drop for “diner” type restaurants and a much more important drop for a sumptuous reception.

Please contact our team to get advice on our broad variety of standard or custom-made tablecloths.
